We had a fantastic stay at Albergue O Meson! the hostel is conveniently located next to the Santiago Way and close to the river and shops. the facilities are incredibly clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. the bunk beds with curtains are a great idea, providing privacy and a sense of personal space. the host, Thomas, was super friendly and went above and beyond to help us find our next place to stay. We also enjoyed the food at the bar, with great discounts. We highly recommend this hostel, especially for its accessibility with a room for disabled individuals. Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

We had a wonderful experience at Albergue O Mesón. the beds were comfortable and arranged with curtains for privacy. Each bed had electric plugs and lights, making it convenient for us to charge our devices and read at night. the hostel was very clean, and we were provided with fresh towels and sheets. the staff were friendly and efficient, making us feel right at home. the shower facilities were also great, and there were enough showers and toilets for each sex on our hostel floor. The restaurant down the street served delicious food and had excellent service. Cons: None 😊.

I recently stayed at Albergue O Meson for my Camino journey and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facilities were top-notch. The highlight was definitely the delicious food at the restaurant next door, owned by the hostel. The kitchen with a fridge was an added bonus. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with enough room to hang clothes. I loved having access to a washing machine and a designated area to dry my clothes. The bed had a convenient reading light and power plug, and a small board on the wall for personal items. a great experience!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel itself was clean and well-maintained. the beds were comfortable, with clean sheets and each bed had its own socket, light, and locker. the shared bathroom was spacious and the showers were good. There was even a restaurant/cafe owned by the same people as the hostel, serving delicious and affordable food. it was a really good stay for a very reasonable price.
Nothing negative to say 😊.

albergue o meson was even better than our previous stay in puentesampayo. the beds were cozy with convenient amenities, the bathrooms were spacious, and the early-opening bar was a perfect start to our camino day.
Breakfast should start at 6 for the early walkers.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location of the hostel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. the private rooms offered some privacy and had comfortable beds. the staff was friendly and provided excellent guidance during check, in. the hostel was very clean and well, maintained, with options for laundry facilities and a well, equipped kitchen to use.
I found the partition in the private room to be too thin, which resulted in minimal privacy and no protection from noise.

Clean beds and quiet location made for a comfortable sleep during our romantic escape. The showers and toilets were well maintained and provided a refreshing experience. Additionally, we appreciated the nearby restaurant/cafe that served delicious and reasonably priced meals. The friendly and helpful staff added to our positive experience.
Although generally pleasant, our private room had some drawbacks. Its proximity to the kitchen and entrance meant that every time someone entered or used the kitchen, our sliding door vibrated, causing disruption.

The location of this hostel is ideal for those walking the Camino de Santiago, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. the beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. the bathrooms are spacious and well-maintained, with a convenient shower area for leaving clothes. there is a bar located nearby, perfect for enjoying a quick morning coffee before beginning your day.
The only drawback is the relatively short length of the beds, which may pose a challenge for taller guests.

This albergue is very clean and well organized, with comfortable beds and private arrangements with curtains. Each bed has a power socket and a lamp, and there is a small lockable box for personal items. the bathrooms are spacious and the showers have a space to leave clothes. There is a bar nearby that opens early for a quick coffee before starting the day.
Felt truly looked after, no complaints.
